Faux Finishes~ Before & After

This is is actually mid process, most of the wallpaper has been removed at this point.

I added extremely fine sand to the paint and alternated light and dark to give a kind of soft suede look. I sanded it with a block sander the next day to remove the sharp edges from the sand to give it a softer feel as well.

This is a spare room in a basement, before.

...and after. The imperfections in the concrete floor added to the believe ability of the stone.
