Recently I did a painting inspired by my husband's and my love of music and nature, combining a tree and guitar. I saw a digital picture that was somewhat similar a while back and decided to do my own spin on it.
This is what I came up with.
From this I decided to go a step further and create a print that could be used for a silkscreen image. With a little tweaking I created this:
And with this design I am so excited to begin creating these wonderful, one of a kind totes, purses, and little bags!!
You may have noticed in the water marked print above, the line "Since 1957" on either side of the tree. This is the year my husband was born, but I can replace that with any year from 1900 to 2012. Or, shown in the photos directly above, that part can be left off entirely, it's your choice!
Since I have just begun creating these, I do not have much in the way of photos just yet, but I was so excited to share with you all that I just couldn't wait!
